Class 2 Base Rock

Class 2 Base rock is made out of sand, gravel, and crushed stone. Class 2 Base Rock is treated with Lime to improve compaction. Commonly called Class 2 Road Base or Virgin Base.

Common uses:

• Base material for roads, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks
• Under paver, flagstone, and artificial grass installations
• Water filtration, erosion, and purification control
• In a combination with other building materials
